A note from the founder
Hi, I'm Shannon.
I started learning how to trade during lockdown - as a busy high school English teacher I actually had time to start - I had no finance background, no experience, but was paying a monthly subscription to figure it all out. When I became a mom almost two years ago, I realised what other moms really needed was the skill and the freedom to learn in their own time, without an extra monthly bill.
And with that idea The Wealth Nest was born: a free, supportive space where women can learn how money, investing and the markets actually work — without the jargon, without the pressure, and without feeling judged for asking questions.
This isn't about getting rich overnight. It's about building real skills that give you more choices, more confidence, and more control over your future.
